Jen Kirkman is a stand-up comedian (originally hailing from Boston and New York City) as well as a writer and regular round table guest on Chelsea Lately. She also was one of the stars of the hit-spin-off ‘mockumentary’ show After Lately. Jen’s latest stand-up album Hail to the Freaks (released March 2011) hit #13 on the Billboard Charts. Her debut album was 2006’s Self Help. Jen is also well known for her role as the narrator in the cult-hit series “Drunk History” - from Funny or Die/HBO which won the jury prize at Sundance Film Festival. Jen has performed stand-up on Late Night with Craig Ferguson, Conan and many late-night Comedy Central shows. Every month, Jen makes an appearance on Paul F. Tompkins’ podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast, which was hailed by Rolling Stone as “the best comedy podcast of the moment.” Her first book, “I Can Barely Take Care of Myself” is coming out in hardcover on April 16th, 2013 through Simon & Schuster and later as an audio book through Tantor Media.
