The Imaginary Radio Program
Inside the head of San Francisco comic Drennon Davis lives an imaginary radio full of sexually charged funk songs and Morrissey impressions. The festival favorite Imaginary Radio Program combines live-looped songs with sketch comedy featuring an array of guest appearances by some of the funniest comics in the business.
“If you venture into this awkward yet ultimately rewarding late-night show, you may well come out of it thinking that Drennon Davis is a bit of a genius.” - The Times (UK)
Drennon has been featured on Comedy Central's new stand-up/sketch show Adam Devine's House Party, Carson Daly's Last Call and a semi finalist on Last Comic Standing. His new animated series The Long Legs is premiering on MTV's new Liquid Television.
With musical partner Nick Stargu (aka DJ Real) - San Francisco-based musical comedian that has appeared in the San Francisco Sketch Festival, the San Francisco Comedy Competition, the Noisepop Festival and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. And he's opened for Devo! Be warned - his dance moves may move you to tears.
“…DJ REAL was a very strange, and strangely wonderful combination of lo-fi recording artist and Andy Kaufman comedian…” – SF Weekly

“The Imaginary Radio Program, as a live musical comedy show, not only lives up to its name, but exceeds expectation in what you could possibly think it is. Producer and host, Drennon Davis takes the audience on a journey through airwaves of his own brilliant comedic mind via innovative beatboxing/singing and a whole host of characters, voices, and impressions.” – Los Angeles Comedy Bureau
“Tune in, for a show that's high on concept and adept in execution.” - The Guardian (UK)
“If Davis isn’t the world’s foremost radio impressionist he’s definitely tuned somewhere near the top… The Imaginary Radio Program may just be the most inspiring show about what you can create when your entire world revolves around radio, and not just your genitals.” – Fest Magazine
